After 14 seasons filled with extraordinary experiences, thousands of lights and unforgettable encounters with history, the time has come to pause and prepare for a new chapter. This autumn, for the first time since 2012, we will not be welcoming visitors to the Royal Garden of Light.
This decision stems from the need to reflect on our experience to date, carefully analyse changing audience expectations and consider new trends in outdoor light exhibitions. We want to use this time to develop a new concept for the Royal Garden of Light, allowing us to look at this unique space from a fresh perspective. Our aim is to create an exhibition that is modern and engaging, while remaining in harmony with the historic character of the Wilanów residence.
At the same time, we assure you that there will be plenty of special attractions at the Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów this winter! On 28–29 November 2026, we will invite you to the first Advent Market in the history of our Museum, to be held in the Museum’s Orangery. Together, we will also usher in the festive season, marking the beginning of preparations for Christmas.
We want the winter months to remain an opportunity to enjoy culture, history and the beauty of the Wilanów residence. That is why we are looking for Partners who would like to join us in creating an unforgettable winter event in the historic gardens of Wilanów. We believe that through collaboration, creative ideas and a shared commitment, we can develop an event that will offer visitors a fresh way to discover the Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów and provide them with many memorable experiences.
This year’s pause in organising the Royal Garden of Light does not mean the end of its story, but rather the beginning of work on a new chapter.
Thank you for being with us throughout these 14 seasons. We look forward to welcoming you to the Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów!
See you soon!
